To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the foundingof the People's Republic of China and to further promote Chinese culture worldwide, China Post, the United States Philately Group, and the European Philately Association jointly organized the "Chinese Culture on World Stamps" event. Under the supervision of the United Nations World Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Fund, the works of Chinese artists from across the world were selected and printed on commemorative stamps. 

The works of Mr. Li Chengwu, J. de La Fontaine’s Art Department Director, were selected and featured in this incredible initiative. 

Mr. Li has long been committed to study of oil painting techniques and his works have been exhibited in galleries across the world. The selection of his art is a recognition of his artistic accomplishments and his dedication to teaching. We offer Mr. Li our heartfelt congratulations for this wonderful accomplishment!
